Athletics

Welcome to the Athlete's Corner - Find everything you need to know about Cedar Heights Athletics.

All middle school sports are open to all grades, 6-8. We will continue with our intramural program; however, sixth graders are no longer limited to intramural. In addition, 7th graders who have tried out for a cut sport and are not selected for the team are now eligible to participate in intramural sports. 7th graders cannot join intramural sports without first going through the cut process. 8th Grade participation in intramural sports is currently under review. Intramural sports seasons are dependent upon student interest.

Cedar Families,

The start of the 2022-23 school year means Fall Sports start too! Our fall sports season offers baseball, fastpitch, and track. Track practice will start on Tuesday, September 6 from 3-5pm and will be held every day after school at the same time. Baseball and Fastpitch tryouts begin on the first day of school, September 7, until 5:30pm. For fastpitch and baseball, bring water and any gear you have (cleats, glove, bat, helmets, etc.). For track, bring water, running shoes, and comfortable athletic shorts/top. If you are interested in turning out visit our website at cedarheights.skschools.org, click on the athletics tab to register. All documents must be completed and signed including an uploaded current physical exam before you can begin. I look forward to seeing you and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you, George Duarte, Athletic Director, email: duarte@skschools.org.

NEW REQUIREMENT FOR 2022-23 SPORTS ELIGIBILITY: Our sports program is using a new program called FinalForms. When registering for sports, the program will send an email to the student's school email account requiring them to electronically sign forms. THIS IS CRITICAL FOR A STUDENT TO BE CLEARED TO PLAY A SPORT. Students MUST log in to their school Gmail account through HelloID, as their log in is saved in their keychain (for students who attended school in the South Kitsap School District last year). Their log in information is the same username and password they use to access any computer (username@skstudent.org). If their default password is incorrect, students will have to reset their password. If students do not remember their default password, please email Ms. Crosby at crosby@skschools.org for assistance. Thank you.

Please visit our seasonal sports pages where you will find current game schedules and more information about individual sports.
